Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Strategy Manager to join the Enterprise Strategy team in Irving, TX.

You will translate leadership priorities into an integrated agenda, coordinate execution across the team, and ensure strategic initiatives move forward with clear ownership. You will serve as a trusted partner, linking strategy to people, operating rhythm, and executive communication, while helping the broader team anticipate issues and resolve barriers to maintain alignment with enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field with 7+ years in strategy/consulting/exec support
• MBA or advanced degree preferred for higher responsibility
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Ability to influence senior leaders and manage cross-functional projects

Responsibilities

• Shape priorities with the VP of Enterprise Strategy and translate direction into actionable plans
• Coordinate leadership rhythm: meetings, strategy reviews, planning and executive updates
• Maintain an integrated view of the strategy portfolio with milestones, interdependencies and risks
• Drive ownership, track commitments, escalate issues, and ensure follow-through on leadership decisions
• Prepare concise executive communications and surface implications for Caterpillar
• Lead strategic initiatives requiring cross-functional coordination and rapid problem solving
• Connect business strategy with technology strategy and competitive intelligence to reduce duplication
• Support planning, talent priorities, and resource allocation across the team
• Build relationships across Caterpillar to accelerate decision making and surface emerging priorities
• Challenge assumptions and maintain focus on high-value work
