Job summary

Humana is seeking a Corporate Strategy Consultant to partner with senior leaders, identify opportunities, and shape the company’s long-term agenda. This role mirrors top-tier consulting, delivering financial models, industry analyses, and strategic recommendations for Humana’s leadership.

The position involves cross-functional collaboration, executive-level storytelling, and shaping enterprise initiatives with a hybrid work model in the DC metro area, plus relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2 years of consulting, strategy, or relevant corporate experience (i.e., strategic in nature vs. primarily operational)
• Analytical skills (ex: quantitative analysis and research, financial modeling)
• Conceptual skills (ex: translating ambiguous problem statements into structured frameworks, generating hypotheses independently and testing them, synthesizing complex information into digestible executive insights, managing cross-functional stakeholders)

Responsibilities

• Support your project lead on executing enterprise-wide strategic initiatives that impact Humana's long-term growth and competitive positioning.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses (e.g., financial modeling, market research, competitive assessments, expert interviews, data analysis) to test hypotheses, validate assumptions, synthesize findings, and generate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to gather information, test assumptions, and develop a well-informed perspective on strategic opportunities and business risks
• Develop executive-ready materials and presentations for senior executives and support materials for the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
• Evaluate growth, market expansion, partnership, acquisition, and innovation opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted adviser to business leaders on strategic priorities and enterprise planning efforts.
• Collaborate with Corporate Strategy colleagues, and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive, and supportive team environment
