Job summary

Avantus seeks an experienced Chief of Staff (Sr. Director level) to support the CEO in a fast-moving energy company. This role requires superb communication, analytical, and presentation skills, with knowledge of U.S.

power markets and utility-scale solar development preferred. Reporting to the CEO, the Chief of Staff will organize the agenda for key meetings, coordinate with the executive team, and drive the five-year Avantus Business Plan and the one-year Operating Plan while ensuring timely

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience serving Executive and/or Board stakeholders.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in U.S. power markets, infrastructure investing, and/or utility-scale solar development is preferred.
• Must be an exceptional problem solver, detail-oriented, and experienced in leading highly visible projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to resolve issues.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market and renewables project data and financials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Organize the agenda for key meetings and prepare materials to facilitate discussions.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to shape strategy, direction, and execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver the Avantus Business Plan and annual plan.
• Ensure action items are completed and information reaches the CEO for decisive follow-up.
• Collaborate with People team to advance culture initiatives and organizational goals.
