Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Journalism, Strategic Communications, Political Science, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs, executive communications, government affairs, or related functions.
• Excellent written communication, editing, and briefing development skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reviews of Weekly Activity Reports (WARs) for senior leadership awareness.
• Identify, analyze, and elevate key developments, risks, issues, and trends for leadership visibility.
• Synthesize information into concise, executive-level summaries and communications products.
• Monitor news and media coverage impacting SSC missions and priorities.
• Provide timely escalation of critical media coverage and reputational risks to leadership.
