Job summary

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI is seeking an Executive Steward to lead the stewarding department, ensuring smooth operations and providing cooks and service staff with the right equipment for guests’ dining experiences.

You will supervise staff, manage inventory of china, glassware, linens, and silver, and uphold sanitation standards while supporting dishwashing and service teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising stewarding or dishwashing staff.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations.
• Ability to operate catering vehicles and lift heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Supervise stewarding department in management's absence, ensuring smooth operations.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate distribution of china, glassware, linens, and silver.
• Oversee proper use of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Train new dishwashing staff effectively.
• Complete daily checklists and safety inspections, delegating tasks as needed.
• Drive resort catering truck, pickups, and golf carts on property and nearby roads.
