Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah is hiring an Executive Steward to lead the Stewarding operation across our ultra-premium property. You will supervise the stewarding team, dishwashing, sanitation, inventory, and porter programs supporting Food & Beverage and back-of-house operations.

Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will partner with culinary, banquet, purchasing, engineering, housekeeping, and porter teams to maintain resort-wide standards, drive health compliance, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in stewarding, kitchen operations, or back-of-house leadership roles.
• Experience in a resort, hotel, banquet, or high-volume F&B environment preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily Stewarding operations for restaurants, bars, banquets, and events.
• Oversee the porter program and support F&B, culinary, banquet, and back-of-house operations.
• Supervise and coach stewarding staff, schedule, train, and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain equipment readiness, inventory, and proper storage of china, glass, silverware, and supplies.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Banquets, Purchasing, Engineering, and Housekeeping to align porter support with operations.
