The Colony Hotel in Maine, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking an Executive Sous Chef for task force assignments. You will plan and direct food preparation in the kitchens and ensure product quality and service standards across menus and events.

This role offers a weekly pay model ($1,200–$1,600) with assignment-based compensation, a strong People First culture, 401k with company match, and opportunities to lead a high‑end culinary team in a coastal setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in high-end operations preferred.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labor management.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen staff.
• Lead menu development and food costing.
• Plan and organize staff coverage.
• Ensure adherence to health and sanitation standards.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, and cost control.
• Coach and develop culinary team members.
