Your role: As the Executive Sous Chef, you supervise daily culinary operations, assist with employee training and scheduling, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. You will serve as the Executive Chef in their absence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising culinary staff, communicating goals, and enforcing policies.
  • Managing food preparation, portion control, and minimizing waste.
  • Overseeing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
  • Assisting in menu development, recipe testing, and costing.
  • Ensuring sanitation standards and safety regulations are met.
  • Collaborating with other departments and vendors to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, with at least three years of culinary experience. Culinary degree or certification preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and handle food and equipment safely. Strong communication, math, and problem-solving skills. Food handler or health permit as required.
