Starwood Hotels in Austin, TX is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to lead culinary teams and drive menu innovation in a vibrant, 24-hour operation. You will oversee pastry and savory sections, cultivate locally sourced dishes, and partner with hotel leadership to elevate guest experiences.

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of leadership in culinary operations, strong communication skills, and a proven record of driving guest and team engagement and financial performance.

Qualifications

• An expert in culinary operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
• A minimum of 3 years of similar work experience.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• Must have prior proven ability to lead, supervise and develop pastry and savory teams.
• Ability to demonstrate menu creativity through development and implementation.
• Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
• Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
