POSITION OVERVIEW

Omnium Protection Group is seeking an experienced Executive Protection Agent for a dedicated, full-time assignment supporting senior leadership within a complex institutional environment. Working under Omnium’s program management, the agent will provide discreet, proactive protection that enables executives to carry out their responsibilities with confidence and minimal disruption to their professional activities.

The position combines close protection, advance planning, secure transportation, travel support, and emergency readiness within an integrated executive security program. The agent will develop a strong understanding of executive schedules, institutional operations, and the environments in which leaders work and travel, using that knowledge to anticipate concerns, reduce avoidable exposure, and adapt protective measures to changing circumstances. Assignments may include campus activities, local movements, public appearances, external engagements, and domestic or international travel.

Success requires sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trusted working relationships with executives, executive assistants, institutional security personnel, and other partners. The agent must be comfortable operating independently while remaining closely coordinated with Omnium program leadership and supplemental protective personnel. A calm demeanor, clear communication, and respect for the institution’s mission, culture, and expectations of privacy are essential.

We seek a protection professional whose effectiveness is grounded in preparation, attentiveness, and discretion—someone who can recognize when to remain unobtrusive, when to communicate a concern, and when decisive action is necessary. This is an opportunity to contribute to a continuing protective program, develop meaningful institutional knowledge, and support leaders whose work carries significant responsibility and public visibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Close Protection & Personal Security
  • Provide close protection and escort for designated executives during assigned movements, events, appointments, and other activities, with additional protective support as authorized by program management.
  • Maintain strong situational awareness and appropriate security protocols while escorting the principal
  • Maintain a professional, low-profile, discreet presence at all times
  • De-escalate tense situations or individuals that arise during assignments
  • Respond to emergencies, initiate protective actions, and provide first aid within the scope of training and certification
  • Identify, communicate, and respond to potential safety, security, logistical, or operational concerns in real time
  • Move the principal to safety during emergencies or emerging threats, coordinating protective actions and emergency response with institutional security, emergency services, and program management as circumstances permit.
Advance Planning & Risk Assessment
  • Conduct advance work and site assessments for residences, travel destinations, and events before the principal arrives
  • Assess threats, vulnerabilities, and travel routes; identify and reduce avoidable exposures related to timing, routing, locations, and dwell time
  • Perform local area travel advances to review departures, arrivals, movements, routes, and emergency actions
  • Review relevant protective intelligence and security briefings, report emerging concerns, and incorporate current information into advance planning and protective operations.
Secure Transportation & Driving
  • Provide secure transportation for the principal, serving as the driver or coordinating protective movements with an assigned driver according to mission requirements.
  • Apply safe, defensive driving practices and appropriate protective driving techniques consistent with training, conditions, and operational requirements.
  • Execute secure transportation assignments, including airport transfers and route reconnaissance
  • Ensure assigned vehicles are operationally ready, maintained, and prepared to support protective operations
Travel & Logistics Support
  • Escort the principal between residences, airports, aircraft, vehicles, hotels, meetings, events, and other destinations
  • Support airport operations, private aviation movements, ground transportation, and hotel arrivals
  • Coordinate with drivers, aviation personnel, hotel staff, destination personnel, and travel staff to support seamless protective operations
  • Coordinate the secure handling of executive luggage and designated sensitive materials, and maintain readiness and accountability for assigned protective and emergency equipment
Access Control & Physical Security
  • Support executive-area access control and visitor-management procedures in coordination with institutional security and executive office personnel.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Complete shift logs, mission reports, suspicious activity reports, incident reports, and medical treatment reports as applicable, documenting relevant security observations, operational deviations, and actions taken
  • Document operationally relevant schedule, movement, and exposure information through approved reporting channels
  • Provide handover briefings and reports to incoming or supplemental agents to maintain continuity of protective coverage
  • Communicate vulnerabilities, emerging threats, and safety concerns promptly to program management
Coordination & Liaison
  • Collaborate with executive assistants, institutional security, facilities teams, and other partners to address security logistics and administrative needs
  • Liaise with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies for intelligence sharing, threat assessments, and emergency response planning, as directed by program management and in coordination with institutional security
  • Coordinate with approved external protective resources, venue security, transportation providers, and public safety agencies in support of assigned executive activities
Discretion & Confidentiality
  • Handle sensitive information concerning executives, employees, patients, families, and visitors—including schedules, locations, movements, and security measures—with the utmost discretion
