Job summary

Assembly is seeking an Associate to execute on executive level searches, operating across project management, research, and candidate development. You will drive exceptional candidates to the table and support them throughout the search lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is authentic, ambitious, accomplished, altruistic, and accountable, with experience sourcing and recruiting at a top-tier executive search firm. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years recruiting experience in fast-paced environments, ideally executive search, or 3+ years in sales, marketing, or related field.
  • Written and oral communication skills that are clear, organized, and effective at driving client decisions.
  • Ability to work with a team and independently, adapting to different communication and work styles.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills; meet SLAs with error-free deliverables.
  • Professional demeanor; positive attitude in work and communication.
  • Track record of exceeding expectations and delivering strong results.
  • Desire to take on increasing responsibility in a growing team.
  • Self-discipline and multitasking across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct candidate outreach, pitch calls, and full assessment against search scorecards.
  • Manage multiple client engagements and research processes; prioritize effectively.
  • Perform rigorous market research using databases to source executive-level candidates.
  • Assist with search strategy, identify and attract prospects, and create client deliverables.
  • Identify creative solutions to search assignments and pivot research strategy when needed.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Directors, VPs, and Partners on searches.
  • Hit annual search targets (KPIs).
  • Prepare materials for prospective client meetings as needed.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and data integrity in our database.

Associate Position Summary

This Associate will be responsible for executing on executive level searches. This person will play a hybrid role across project management, research, and candidate development, serving as a key member of the team in driving exceptional candidates to the table and supporting them throughout the lifecycle of the search.

Assembly is looking for an Associate who is Authentic, Ambitious, Accomplished, Altruistic, and Accountable to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, proactive, and organized individual with experience in sourcing and recruiting at a top-tier executive search firm. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment in addition to managing a wide variety of search projects across multiple clients and working styles.

Associate Responsibilities

  • Conduct candidate outreach, pitch calls, and full assessment against search scorecards
  • Manage multiple client engagements and research processes at once; able to manage priorities effectively
  • Conduct rigorous market research, utilizing internal and external databases to source and engage potential executive-level candidates
  • Assist with search strategy, identifying and attracting prospects, and creating client deliverables
  • Identify creative solutions to search assignments
  • Able to pivot research strategy when needed
  • Consistently and proactively communicate and collaborate with Directors, VPs, and Partners on a search
  • Hit annual search targets (KPIs)
  • Assist with prospective client meetings by prepping any materials needed
  • Maintain accurate data entry and integrity of the data in our database

Associate Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years of professional recruiting experience in fast paced environments, ideally in executive search preferred or 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, client services, or other related field
  • Written and oral communication skills that are clear, organized, and effective at driving client decision-making
  • Ability to work with a team and independently, adapting to different communication and work styles
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills; able to meet all service-level agreements with error-free deliverables
  • Professional demeanor; exhibits a positive attitude in work and communication
  • Track record of exceeding expectations and returning strong results both personally and academically/professionally
  • A strong desire to take on an increasing amount of responsibility
  • Self-discipline and skilled at multitasking with ability to manage a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment
