The E.W. Scripps Company’s WMAR team in Baltimore is seeking an Executive Reporter to lead, mentor, and elevate storytelling across platforms. You’ll guide reporters and MMJs, shape our content strategy, and ensure high journalistic standards while collaborating with newsroom leaders.

You may provide on-air or multi-platform coverage for breaking news, while managing workflows and upholding ethical guidelines. A BS/BA and 7+ years of experience are preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in storytelling and editorial judgment.
• Knowledge of journalistic ethics and libel laws.
• Curiosity for the community, city, state and world we report on daily.
• Understanding of content strategy and newsroom workflows.
• Ability to handle night/weekend/holiday shifts as needed.
