KNXV, the E. W. Scripps ABC affiliate in Phoenix, seeks an Executive Reporter with a passion for storytelling and community impact. You will lead, mentor, and shape reporting across platforms, guiding reporters and MMJs while upholding journalistic integrity.

You'll partner with newsroom leadership to execute a compelling content strategy, oversee story writing, and develop workflows for multiple programs, delivering authentic, high-impact stories for local audiences.

Formación

• When BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years in journalism or related field.
• Demonstrated editorial judgment, ethics, and reporting standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, develop, and mentor reporters and MMJs in storytelling.
• Collaborate with newsroom leaders to execute content strategy.
• Oversee writing of stories for all platforms with timely feedback.
• Develop workflows for multiple news programs and outlets.
• Ensure content adheres to journalistic standards and ethics.
• Provide on-air, multi-platform coverage for breaking news as needed.
