HHHunt, Inc. is seeking a Director of Real Estate Development to lead development budgets, schedules, and project delivery across multiple states. You will manage contractors, coordinate with engineers and architects, and ensure timely, on-budget completion of developments.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance innovative real estate projects and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Construction Management or related field with at least 10 years of construction experience.
• Excellent organization, motivation, leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking, problem solving, judgment, and decision-making ability.
• Ability to identify, plan and prioritize business opportunities.
• Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.
• Team-oriented yet capable of independent work.
• Deadline-driven in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.
• Knowledge of building products, construction details, and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and maintenance of annual construction budgets for all development projects.
• Review budgets monthly; initiate variance and change order reports for variances.
• Update project proformas twice yearly.
• Oversee preparation and updates of project schedules and communicate changes to builder partners.
• Oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion to quality standards.
• Manage all contractors working on development projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and land planners for design and implementation.
• Oversee bid process and contract terms negotiation; obtain permits.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Establish relationships with contractors, builders, property owners, residents, inspectors, and HOA.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
