Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking an Executive Protection Specialist to safeguard our Chief Executive Officer and other executives. The role includes close protection, secure transportation, advance planning, and threat mitigation across domestic and occasional international assignments.

It requires handling confidential information and may involve overnight and irregular hours, with responsibilities spanning crisis response and business continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience providing close protection for executives
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and threat analysis
• Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, law enforcement, and agencies

Responsibilities

• Provide close protection for the CEO and other executives during travel, events, and daily operations
• Plan and conduct protective advances (site surveys, route analysis, safe havens)
• Maintain situational awareness and assess threats across risk environments
• Coordinate secure transportation and defensive driving
• Incorporate protective intelligence into planning and incident response
• Support crisis management and business continuity programs
• Provide travel risk management and real-time security updates to stakeholders
• Engage with executive leadership and external partners to deliver security solutions
