Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Off-Duty Officer (ODO) to ensure a safe and secure environment for clients. The role involves executive protection, surveillance support, and on-site emergency response.

A strong background in law enforcement and POST certification is required, with up to 50% travel and flexibility to work varied shifts. The ODO interfaces with Retail, Special Operations, and other divisions to deliver top-tier security services for Fortune 500 clients,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three plus years of law enforcement experience.
• Active/retired law enforcement with POST certification.
• Active CCW and Exposed Firearms permits.
• Proof of annual firearms requalification or annual firearms training course.
• Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by state law.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of time.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure environment for clients and visitors.
• Conduct threat assessment and respond to emergencies on-site.
• Support investigations and surveillance activities as required.
• Deliver executive protection and product escort.
• Coordinate with multiple divisions to ensure client safety and satisfaction.
• Maintain high level of customer service and professional appearance.
