Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Off-Duty Officer (ODO) in Honolulu to provide a safe and secure environment for our client.

The role focuses on advanced planning, threat assessment, and problem-solving, with duties that may include executive protection, on-site surveillance, and client asset safeguarding. The ODO reports to the Operations Manager and supports all divisions, including Retail, Special Operations, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three plus years of law enforcement experience.
• Active/retired law enforcement status.
• POST certification required.
• Active CCW and exposed firearms permits.
• Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by state law.
• Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm.
• Domestic and/or international travel up to 50% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Must be flexible and able to function in stressful situations.
• Observe for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergencies on-site.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Product escort, executive protection, and surveillance support.
• Perform other related duties as required.
