Security Industry Specialists seeks an Off‑Duty Officer (ODO) to provide a safe environment for clients in Memphis. The role emphasizes advanced planning, threat assessment, and problem solving, with duties ranging from executive protection to on-site security and monitoring.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years law enforcement, POST certification, CCW, and firearms requalification, plus state guard certification; travel up to 50% and flexible shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three plus years of law enforcement experience.
• Active/retired law enforcement.
• POST certification.
• Active CCW and Exposed Firearms permits.
• Proof of annual firearms requalification OR annual firearms training course.
• State guard certification as prescribed by state law.
• Dependable team player with business maturity and customer service focus.
• Domestic/International travel up to 50% may be required.
• Flexibility to work any shifts Mon-Sun and overtime when needed.
