AT-RISK International seeks experienced Protective Security Drivers to support secure transportation for high-profile government officials in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The assignment uses a two-driver model for primary and backup coverage to ensure continuity and client support.

This role emphasizes advance planning, threat awareness, route analysis, and coordination with operations and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Executive Protection or protective security.
• Graduation from a recognized protective/defensive driving program.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Familiarity with the Washington, DC region and routes.
• Ability to pass federal background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide secure transportation for a high-profile government official in DC/Northern Virginia.
• Serve as Primary or Secondary Driver as scheduled.
• Conduct advance route planning and contingency routes.
• Maintain continuous situational awareness and identify threats.
• Coordinate movements with Operations, client reps, and law enforcement as appropriate.
• Complete required operational documentation and reports.
