Job summary

Concentric is hiring a Security Driver to join our team embedded with a client in the Washington, DC area. This on-site, armed role involves safe transport for the client and guests with 12-hour shift rotations (four days on, four off) and periodic travel up to 10%.

The role requires conceal carry eligibility and experience protecting high-profile individuals, superb situational awareness, and strong communication with security teams and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to obtain a firearm permit for concealed carry and carry a firearm in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
• First Aid/CPR.
• Current Driver’s License with a flawless driving record.
• Operational experience driving high-profile executives or high-net-worth passengers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with senior leadership interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide a white-glove driving service for client and guests, including companion animals.
• Safeguard Principal and guests from security and safety hazards during transit.
• Coordinate logistics for movements to/site prep and contingencies.
• Operate vehicle safely and comfortably.
• Develop and execute route plans and advanced work for efficient transport.
• Conduct vehicle checks for cleanliness, functionality and fuel.
• Identify threats and intervene when appropriate along routes.
• Assist in emergencies and other safety hazards.
• Coordinate with home office and security teams for routines.
• Provide residential security support as needed, including site checks and access verification.
