In this position, you will be part of TASC’s agency infrastructure, whose departments collectively assure the overall quality, fiscal responsibility, effectiveness, and impact of TASC’s work, and work to advance our mission to build a healthier, safer, and more just society.
We are currently looking for full-time – Executive Project Manager
Starting at $75K– $85K contingent upon experience, education, etc.
Position Summary: The primary purpose of the Executive Project Manager is to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design, plan, implement and monitor high-level projects which seek to improve operational efficiency and/or strengthen program service delivery. The Executive Project Manager ensures the execution and delivery of project objectives utilizing PMBOK best practices with particular attention to all project dimensions: Scope, Time, Cost, Quality and Performance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Work closely with the project sponsor to define project scope, goals, resource requirements, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop project charters including the project overview, SOW, goals/objectives, critical milestones, timeline, budget, stakeholders, and risks.
- Create project workplans in Smartsheet and coordinate with the cross-functional team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of tasks and communicate project status to project sponsor, stakeholders and cross-functional team members.
- Identify, prioritize and proactively monitor changes that may affect the project; manage project risk analysis; and manage implementation of associated risk reduction measures.
- Facilitate and encourage collaboration across departments to ensure projects are completed successfully
- Coach cross-functional team members and assist them in solving problems related to the project management.
- Conduct post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to design and create graphically-enhanced pitch decks, reports and other presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Develop process maps and work flows, as needed, to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process, program, or system to the project sponsor.
- Stay aware of company goals and strategies to ensure projects align with business priorities
- Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process, program, or system to the project sponsor.
- Promote the philosophy of the organization, ensuring proper implementation of accepted clinical practices strategies.
- Attend all trainings and internal and external meetings as required.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferably in business, organizational development, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience managing complex and diverse projects; working knowledge of PMBOK; Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) required; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Experience coaching teams for optimal performance toward successfully achieving a common goal.
- Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities; ability to work in a high-pressure fast paced environment; understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; and remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; and ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to efficiently allocate your cognitive resources to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks, no matter how small or large.
- Advanced experience designing process maps and workflows; developing graphically-enhanced pitch decks and presentations; and drafting reports.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software; Smartsheet (or other PM software) experience is a plus.

The agency currently offers hybrid work schedules that combines in-office and remote work. Employees are required to report to the work site three days per week with the option to work up to two days remotely.
