Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking an Executive Director to supervise the treatment program and multiple sites, overseeing 3–6 programs including RTC and OP services. You will guide facility operations, staff, and patient care, while coordinating with home office and referral sources.

Ideal candidate holds a Master's degree or higher, with at least three years in management and two years in mental health within residential or hospital settings, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher required.
• Minimum three years of management experience.
• At least two years of mental health experience in residential or hospital settings.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure quality across 3–6 programs, driving improvements.
• Lead weekly treatment team meetings at each location to ensure communication and team-based care.
• Coordinate with referral sources and outpatient providers for continuity of care.
• Facilitate patient transfers to higher level of care when needed.
• Manage program outreach, tours, and on-call support for facilities.
• Ensure timely timekeeping and payroll accuracy for clinical staff.
• Oversee patient intake and discharge processes and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and HIPAA policies.
• Oversee facility maintenance, audits, and environmental care issues.
• Coordinate weekly community outings and audits of kitchen operations.
