Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a seasoned Procurement Program Director in the United States to lead procurement on large EPCM Data Center programs. You will oversee teams, shape procurement strategies, and manage risk across global suppliers while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires deep EPCM experience, strong collaboration with engineering and construction teams, and a track record of delivering complex capital projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years in procurement, purchasing, subcontract administration, supplier quality, expediting, and materials management in EPCM/large capital projects.
• Experience leading procurement professionals and managers.
• Strong communication with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting large capital projects from planning through closeout.
• Knowledge of EPCM project delivery and procurement's role in cost, schedule, quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of procurement professionals on a large EPCM Data Center project.
• Provide strategic oversight of procurement operations on major Data Center projects.
• Serve as Project Procurement Manager on large capital projects when required.
• Develop and execute project procurement strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Drive performance through subcontract administration, purchasing, supplier management, expediting, and quality surveillance.
• Ensure procurement activities meet contractual requirements and project controls.
• Collaborate with project teams to support successful delivery.
• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier qualification, and supplier relationship management.
• Monitor procurement metrics: cost savings, schedule, supplier performance, risk, quality.
• Address supply constraints and long-lead equipment risks proactively.
• Support project pursuits, proposals, and client presentations when needed.
• Champion data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
