Zusammenfassung

Fleet Data Centers seeks a senior Preconstruction Director to own the preconstruction lifecycle for mega-scale data center campuses, from concept through NTP, ensuring budgets, contracts, and procurement readiness align with Fleet’s reliability goals.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead site Preconstruction Managers, set governance standards, and collaborate with design, development, and Supply Chain to protect the energization critical path across multiple campuses.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical preconstruction leadership experience.
• 15+ years of preconstruction, estimating, and/or delivery on large-scale projects.
• 7+ years owner-side preferred; strong GC preconstruction leadership also considered.
• Experience leading campus-level budgets, contracting strategies, and long-lead procurement.
• Proficiency with estimating systems, Procore, MS Office, and scheduling software.

Aufgaben

• Own campus preconstruction from design development through NTP.
• Lead the site-wide Preconstruction Managers; set priorities and manage workload across campuses.
• Establish preconstruction standards: estimate formats, milestone gates, logs, and risk registers.
• Partner with design/engineering and development to align design with budget and Fleet’s resiliency requirements.
• Own the campus procurement roadmap; drive long-lead equipment buyout and award recommendations through NTP.
