Job summary

Fleet Data Centers seeks a Director of Land Development to drive pre-development for large-scale data center campuses. You will lead site diligence, master planning, entitlements, and permitting from control to disposition.

You will coordinate with internal power teams, public agencies, and communities, manage budgets, and oversee consultants to deliver approvals and reliable project timelines across multi-jurisdiction sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, real estate development, architecture, planning, or equivalent.
• Minimum five years' experience in large-scale land development, civil engineering, site planning, construction, or data center and energy development.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and manage multiple sites across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-development diligence and planning across multiple sites.
• Define scope and sequence studies gate decisions from site control to vertical construction.
• Run land diligence including title, surveys, geotechnical, environmental, and traffic studies.
• Lead entitlements and permitting across local, state, and federal jurisdictions.
• Direct masterplanning with stakeholders to reconcile load, form, and infrastructure constraints.
• Support budgeting and capital forecasting for each project phase.
