Job summary

The University of Rochester seeks an Executive Physician Recruiter to develop and execute proactive recruitment strategies for physicians and executive-level clinical talent. You will partner with physician leaders, search chairs, and committees to understand workforce needs and build sustainable pipelines.

You will lead full-cycle recruitment, leveraging talent mapping, passive sourcing, and relationship building to engage top candidates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive recruitment experience including physician/executive healthcare recruitment.
Experience with talent mapping and passive candidate sourcing required.
Ability to engage candidates not actively seeking opportunities.
Experience managing high-touch, multi-stakeholder executive searches.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment for executive physicians and other executive-level clinical roles.
Collaborate with search committees and senior leaders; deliver progress updates and strategic guidance.
Develop targeted recruitment strategies by specialty, market conditions, and organizational priorities.
Create a high-touch candidate experience and ensure equity and strong presentation.
Build and maintain physician talent maps and long-term pipelines across markets.
