Job summary

Extell Financial Services, Inc. seeks a Vice President of Payroll to oversee end-to-end payroll for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. The role partners with HR and Accounting to align payroll with organizational goals and establish strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a decade of payroll experience, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with ADP. Hybrid work is available after an initial period, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA/CPP preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in payroll/accounting with leadership experience.
• Experience with ADP payroll platform and multi-entity payrolls.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll for multiple entities and ensure timely processing.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting to align payroll with goals.
• Maintain internal controls and audit trails for payroll transactions.
• Manage payroll tax filings, year-end processes, and reconciliations.
• Prepare budgets, cost projections, and intercompany transfers.
