Job summary

STC is seeking an Executive Operations & Action Specialist to support NOAA's Weather Program Office in Silver Spring, MD. The role combines high-level administrative tasks with strategic project coordination and cross-agency collaboration.

The candidate will manage executive calendars, draft briefing materials, and drive cross-divisional accountability while liaising with senior leadership across OAR, NOAA, and external partners. A Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant scientific, engineering, or technical field.
• 10+ years of senior analytical, operational, or program management support.
• Ability to translate complex data into executive briefing materials.
• Proven experience managing enterprise task-tracker systems and cross-divisional accountability.
• Advanced skills with Smartsheet or equivalent dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Research, gather, and synthesize data to compile executive briefing packages and talking points.
• Attend executive meetings and drive accountability across program managers.
• Serve as Front Office contact for information requests and write materials.
• Provide analytical support for office initiatives and strategic planning.
• Manage Director and Deputy Director calendars for mission alignment.
• Lead planning and stakeholder alignment for meetings and workshops.
• Establish standards for administrative workflows within the Front Office.
