Job summary

Arc XP, a division of The Washington Post, seeks an Executive Operations Manager in Washington, DC to partner with the President and strengthen alignment, workflows, and execution. You will help leadership translate priorities into action, manage operating rhythms, and surface risks across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the President on day-to-day business operations, helping align priorities, workflows, and communication across the organization.
  • Support the operating rhythm of the business, including planning cycles, leadership meetings, and ongoing team cadences.
  • Help track key initiatives and commitments, ensuring follow-through and surfacing risks or delays.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work by clarifying dependencies, timelines, and next steps across teams.
  • Prepare materials and structure for leadership discussions to support clear, efficient decision-making.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies or gaps and recommend practical improvements to processes and workflows.
  • Support execution of cross-functional projects that improve organizational effectiveness and team alignment.
  • Partner with Finance and other functions to support planning, tracking, and coordination of business activities.
  • Improve internal communication by ensuring updates, decisions, and priorities are clearly documented and shared.
  • Help introduce tools, workflows, or lightweight automation that improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
