Job summary

dfwHR is seeking a Chief Operating Officer in Dublin, Ohio, an on-site executive role reporting to the CEO. You will own the end-to-end operating model across purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, and customer care to deliver sustainable growth, quality, and compliance.

You will lead product engineering and manufacturing, drive Lean initiatives, integration of acquisitions, and build a high-performing leadership team while upholding safety and a culture of customer focus.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical device or healthcare products with executive accountability.
• Proven success leading multi-site operations in regulated medical environments.
• Experience leading product development and lifecycle management for regulated products.
• Working command of design controls, risk management, quality systems, and regulatory expectations.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing, assembly, and contract manufacturing relationships.
• Track record of driving operational excellence, margin expansion, and organizational scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead core operating functions (Purchasing, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly/Kitting, Contract Manufacturing) with full accountability.
• Define and execute operational, engineering, and manufacturing strategies aligned with growth and shareholder expectations.
• Design, optimize, and expand distribution, manufacturing, and operational footprint for current and future needs.
• Establish KPI framework for quality, productivity, on-time delivery, inventory, safety, and profitability; report to CEO and Board.
• Serve as escalation point for critical operational and customer-experience issues.
• Provide executive leadership over product lifecycle, design controls, and manufacturing readiness.
• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, including planning, automation, capacity, and continuous improvement.
• Drive tech enablement and Lean initiatives; integrate acquisitions and develop leadership bench.
