Role Overview

We are seeking a Vice President, Senior Design Manager, Design Systems, to lead and expand our enterprise-wide design system within the Global Marketing Team. The role involves governance, adoption, and scaling of a robust design system that creates cohesive digital experiences for clients and prospects.

You will manage and mentor a team of design system designers, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and oversee the design and implementation of UI components, ensuring accessibility and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute the roadmap and governance model for the central design system supporting multiple product teams.
• Balance consistency and usability with flexibility to ensure scalability.
• Promote design system adoption organization-wide, securing stakeholder and executive support.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to measure and track the impact of the design system.
• Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing, training, and onboarding to increase contributions.
• Manage the design, evolution, and documentation of UI components and patterns from Figma to code.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG 2.1+), performance, and usability standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in UX/UI or product design, with focus on design systems.
• 3+ years in design leadership or management.
• Expertise in Figma; knowledge of development technologies (React, design tokens, Swift UI).
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven experience scaling design systems in enterprise or multi-product organizations.

Knowledge of motion design principles and branding within design systems is a plus.

Salary Range

The expected base salary is $125,000–$250,000, plus potential discretionary bonuses based on performance.
