Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Marine underwriting experience with complex middle-market and large accounts preferred.
• Designation in CPCU/ARM or equivalent is desirable.

• Underwrite and manage a complex Marine Liabilities, Hull & Machinery portfolio with growth and profitability goals.
• Develop and sustain broker, client, and distribution partner relationships; drive engagement strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop talent; collaborate across underwriting, claims, risk engineering, and distribution teams.
• Contribute to underwriting strategy, product development, and process improvements; analyze market conditions.
• Exercise underwriting authority within limits and provide guidance on complex risks.
