The successful candidate will lead staffing, budgetary planning, and process improvements across the ED, coordinating with hospital leaders to achieve high reliability and optimal patient outcomes in a large, complex setting.

Qualifications

• Three years as a registered nurse in acute care, with leadership experience.
• Experience guiding nursing strategy and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates environment to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Plans, leads, and evaluates delivery of patient care to meet outcomes.
• Promotes safe, high-reliability processes and quality outcomes.
• Leads policy formulation and decision-making within nursing.
• Implements continuous improvement to meet standards.
• Manages recruitment, development, supervision, and staffing productivity.
• Monitors budgets, capital & operating plans, and cost control.
