Job summary

Goldwater Care seeks a Director of Nursing to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of our Nursing Department in compliance with federal, state and local standards, regulations, and guidelines that govern our facility, ensuring the highest quality care at all times.

Reporting to the Administrator and Medical Director, the successful candidate will lead policy development, staffing, quality assurance, infection control, and coordination with other resident services to maintain

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital or nursing care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department.
• Maintain written policies and procedures governing day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate with resident services to ensure continuity of care and participate in quality assurance.
