Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA seeks a seasoned nurse executive to become the inaugural Senior Vice President of Nursing, Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) for its 953-bed quaternary hospital.

You will partner with the Chief Nursing Executive and executive leadership to drive nursing excellence, quality, safety, and patient‑centered care across the system, shaping workforce development and health equity initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or MHA; Doctorate preferred.
• Active RN license in Georgia or eligible to obtain.
• 7+ years of progressive nursing leadership in healthcare; ACNO/CNO background preferred.
• Expertise in Pathway to Excellence, Magnet, or similar nursing excellence programs.
• Certifications: NEA-BC or CENP preferred.

• Strategic and operational leadership to drive nursing excellence.
• Lead nursing quality, safety, and patient experience; ensure regulatory compliance.
