Qualifications

• Must have 10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience
• Experience in senior management and accountability for staff, budgets and outcomes
• Experience overseeing nursing operations and quality in a complex healthcare environment
• Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or single state license with privileges
• Nationally recognized nursing leadership or specialty certification required
• Telehealth/virtual practice licensure in-state where clients are located may be required

Responsibilities

• Leads development and execution of nursing strategic and operational plans aligning with enterprise goals
• Maintains safety, risk, and compliance standards across care levels
• Develops nursing plans, staffing, and workflows aligned with organizational strategies
• Manages operating and capital budgets for nursing and assigned areas
• Drives innovative care delivery models balancing quality, safety, cost, and workforce sustainability
• Collaborates with stakeholders to monitor clinical quality targets and lead improvement initiatives
• Fosters a governance-based, engaging environment for nursing staff and professional practice decisions
• Supports Magnet & Pathways principles and designation efforts
• Advances the nursing profession through development, leadership succession, and coaching
• Ensures resources and learning environments for continuous professional development
• Leverages health tech and nursing information systems to improve outcomes
• Advocates for workforce well-being and community health
