The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking a Senior Director of Nursing Operations to provide enterprise-wide leadership for patient flow, throughput, and internal logistics across the organization. This role ensures safe, equitable, and efficient care with right beds, right level of care, and timely transfers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, MBA, or related field required within three years of hire.
• 7+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current Alaska RN license required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assist ACNO/CNO in strategic planning, resource allocation, policy development, and operational decisions.
• Lead throughput and capacity management, discharge planning, and transfer center operations.
• Oversee central float pool, staffing models, and workforce optimization.
• Establish dashboards, escalation pathways, and performance reviews grounded in HRO principles.
• Drive patient flow improvements and cross-department collaboration.
