Job summary

Loretto Hospital is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer to lead daily hospital operations and all clinical departments with a focus on patient care services. You will participate in executive governance, develop strategic plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive improvements in quality and outcomes.

The CNO will work with the CEO to align budgets, staffing and capital needs while fostering a culture of proactive medical management and community-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Nursing leadership.
• Eight to ten years related nursing and hospital operations experience.
• Minimum of eight to ten years as a Chief Nursing Officer or Director of Nursing in a medium to large urban or rural hospital.

Responsibilities

• Develops, directs and evaluates activities of patient care services and hospital departments.
• Oversees compliance with regulatory and quality standards (JCAHO, HFAP, HCFA, HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA).
• Coordinates long-range strategic plans and governance for practice management.
• Plans budgets, staffing and capital needs with the CEO and executive team.
