Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Mechanicsville, VA, seeks a Health Care Director to lead health and wellness activities across the community and manage day-to-day healthcare operations. You will supervise a team of nurses, medication technicians and CNAs, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

The role requires collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and the leadership team to coordinate care, oversee medication management, infection prevention, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN in accordance with State regulations.
• CPR certification required.
• 1–2 years of experience; 3+ years preferred; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead health and wellness activities for residents and oversee day-to-day healthcare operations.
• Supervise nurses, medication technicians and CNAs; oversee medication management and audits.
• Ensure compliance with all State/Federal/Local regulations and Harmony policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists and healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Monitor quality indicators and oversee staff training, onboarding, and performance feedback.
• Manage budget in collaboration with Executive Director and drive improvements.
