Job summary

Lilly seeks a high-impact physician scientist to join the Aesthetic Medicine team as Executive Medical Director, Early Clinical Development. You will bridge discovery science to clinical application, guiding transformational medicines for aesthetic and dermatologic treatments.

You will lead cross-functional teams, design early studies, and drive regulatory interactions while advancing portfolio opportunities in a matrix organization. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with board eligibility/certification in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, or related field.
• US-trained physicians require board eligibility/certification; non-US trained must be EC FMG eligible.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech with director-level responsibilities in early clinical development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and scientific leadership across aesthetic medicine programs.
• Design early clinical studies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to test hypotheses.
• Mentor junior staff and influence portfolio strategy and development priorities.
• Represent Lilly at external scientific forums and manage cross-functional relationships.
