Arc Initiatives seeks a Managing Director to lead its core public affairs and advocacy practice. You will join the executive team, run day-to-day activities, and collaborate with partners on strategy, clients, and growth.

You will own the pipeline, drive revenue, and ensure high client retention while shaping staffing and capabilities for the firm’s next phase of growth. This role is based in DC with in-office presence.

Formación

• 15+ years in political consulting, campaigns, government, advocacy, or public affairs.
• Experience leading teams and building organizations, practices, or departments.
• Record of winning business and growing senior client relationships.
• Experience managing budgets, revenue goals, and staffing decisions.
• Strong consultant's instincts and understanding of how a consulting business makes money.
• Deep commitment to progressive causes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and run Arc Initiatives' core practice day-to-day and partner with executives on strategy, clients, and growth.
• Own the firm's pipeline, revenue goals, client retention, and delivery of contracts.
• Develop staffing structures, reporting lines, and performance management across the consulting team.
• Identify capabilities needed for growth and decide whether to build through hiring, development, or partnerships.
• Build management rhythms and present results to Partners and the executive team.
• Step in as senior strategist for key client problems and nurture select client relationships.
