After six months of employment, some positions may be eligible to apply for a hybrid work arrangement based on job responsibilities, operational needs, supervisor approval, and Dallas College policy.

Academic (Faculty) positions require on-campus presence, even when teaching online courses, in accordance with state law.

As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies to transform business processes, drive operational excellence, and deliver measurable outcomes. You will lead a talented team of process improvement professionals while collaborating across the College to turn strategic priorities into sustainable operational improvements.

What You'll Do

• Lead Enterprise-Wide Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across Dallas College. Partner with executive and departmental leaders to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality. Lead efforts to redesign and optimize business processes that support institutional goals and student success.
• Analyze and Transform Operations: Examine current processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Facilitate process mapping, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and future-state design activities. Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including DMAIC, Kaizen, and data-driven analysis, to develop and implement sustainable solutions.
• Deliver Measurable Results: Establish performance measures, key performance indicators (KPIs), and governance frameworks that support long-term success. Track improvement initiatives and ensure expected benefits are realized and maintained over time. Use data and analytics to guide decision-making and demonstrate organizational impact.
• Influence and Collaborate Across the Organization: Serve as a trusted consultant to leaders and stakeholders on organizational effectiveness, customer experience, and service delivery optimization. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional working sessions to solve complex operational challenges. Build strong partnerships that foster collaboration, innovation, and shared accountability for results.
• Lead Organizational Change: Champion best practices, process standardization, and continuous improvement throughout the College. Support change management efforts that increase employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and operational performance. Promote a culture that embraces innovation, learning, and continuous growth.
• Develop and Mentor Talent: Lead, coach, and develop a team of process improvement professionals. Mentor employees and leaders in Lean Six Sigma principles, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement practices. Foster a high-performance environment focused on collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
• Communicate Results and Best Practices: Develop and deliver presentations, training sessions, and communications that clearly convey findings, recommendations, and outcomes. Share successes and lessons learned to strengthen continuous improvement capabilities across the institution.
