Job summary

Dreamscape Hospitality in Lakewood, CO is seeking an Executive Lounge Host at the Sheraton Denver West. You will deliver attentive service during evening hors d'oeuvres, and keep the Executive Lounge clean, stocked and welcoming throughout the shift.

The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, highly organized, and comfortable engaging with guests while maintaining the lounge experience. Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction are essential.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience in serving, restaurant, hospitality, or food service is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine interest in providing exceptional guest service.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and able to consistently maintain the scheduled workweek.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
  • Ability to remain professional, composed, and guest-focused in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Regular schedule is Sunday evening through Thursday evening. Additional flexibility may occasionally be required based on hotel business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet Executive Lounge guests and provide attentive, professional service throughout their visit.
  • Set up and prepare the Executive Lounge for evening hors d'oeuvres service according to hotel and brand standards.
  • Maintain food and beverage displays throughout service, ensuring items remain properly stocked, organized, and attractively presented.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and appropriate temperatures while following established food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lounge throughout service, including guest seating areas, tables, counters, beverage stations, and service areas.
  • Clear and reset tables promptly while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Monitor and replenish utensils, plates, glassware, napkins, condiments, beverages, and other lounge supplies as needed.
  • Engage professionally with guests, answer questions, and assist with requests or concerns within the scope of the position.
  • Communicate guest needs or service concerns to the appropriate hotel department or manager when additional assistance is required.
  • Maintain awareness of hotel services, amenities, hours of operation, and general property information to assist guests as needed.
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing duties according to established procedures and checklists.
  • Properly clean, sanitize, store, and secure food, beverages, supplies, and equipment at the conclusion of service.
  • Collaborate with Culinary, Food & Beverage, Front Office, and other hotel departments to provide a seamless guest experience.
  • Participate in department meetings, training, and ongoing initiatives related to guest service, food safety, and hotel standards.

Job Summary:

The Executive Lounge Host plays an important role in creating an elevated and welcoming experience for our Marriott Bonvoy Elite members and Executive Lounge guests. This guest-facing position is responsible for providing attentive service during our evening hors d'oeuvres service while ensuring the lounge remains clean, organized, well-stocked, and inviting throughout the evening.


The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, highly organized, and comfortable engaging with guests while independently maintaining the lounge experience. This position requires strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Warmly greet Executive Lounge guests and provide attentive, professional service throughout their visit.

Salary Description:

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour


Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Previous serving, restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience is preferred but not required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine interest in providing exceptional guest service.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.

  • Must be punctual, dependable, and able to consistently maintain the scheduled workweek.

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.

Work Environment:


  • Work is performed primarily within the hotel's Executive Lounge and Food & Beverage service areas.

  • Regular interaction with hotel guests and team members is an essential part of the position.

  • The position involves handling food, beverages, dishes, glassware, cleaning products, and standard Food & Beverage service equipment.

  • The work environment may include moderate noise levels and periods of increased activity during peak service times.

Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
