Job summary

Cutter Aviation seeks a PC-12 PIC to lead safe, efficient charter flights across diverse missions. You will manage all phases of single-pilot operation—from preflight planning to debrief—representing Cutter Aviation with professionalism.

Responsibilities include conducting 135 PIC flights, performing trip planning, and delivering premium passenger service while ensuring regulatory compliance and aircraft care. Training SIC pilots and adapting to dynamic schedules are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating required; ATP preferred.
• Total time: 1,200 hours; cross-country 500 hours; night 100 hours; instrument 75 hours (50 actual).
• Current First Class Medical (or ability to qualify).
• No accidents, incidents, or sanctions in past 5 years; clean driving record.
• Able to pass drug screening and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED minimum.

About the role

As the PC-12 PIC, you will lead safe, efficient, and customer-centric charter flights across a variety of missions. You’ll manage all phases of single-pilot operation—from preflight planning and risk assessment to post-flight debrief—while representing Cutter Aviation with professionalism and poise.

• Conduct single-pilot Part 135 flights as PIC with uncompromising safety and judgment.
• Perform comprehensive trip planning, performance calculations, and weather analysis.
• Deliver a premium passenger experience with attentive, solution-oriented service.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, meticulous recordkeeping, and aircraft care.
• Train and mentor SIC pilots as needed; model strong CRM and risk management.
• Adapt to dynamic schedules, short-notice dispatches, and changing mission profiles.

What you’ll bring (Minimum requirements)

• Certificates: Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating (ATP preferred).
• Flight time: 1,200 hours total time; 500 hours cross-country; 100 hours night; 75 hours instrument (50 actual).
• Medical: Current First Class Medical (or ability to qualify).
• Record: No accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past 5 years; clean driving record.
• Screenings: Able to pass drug screening and background check.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED (minimum).
• Professional skills: Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication abilities; professional appearance and manner.
• Operational: Knowledge of general aviation aircraft and service requirements; self-starter able to work independently; ability to train SIC pilots.
• Physical: Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Availability: 24/7 availability year-round; comfortable with rotating schedules and short-notice callouts.

Preferred qualifications

• Multi-Engine ATP (preferred).
• PC-12 type training/endorsement or significant PC-12 experience (preferred).
• Previous on-demand Part 135 charter experience.
• Prior turbojet type rating and/or turboprop time.
• Recent FSI (FlightSafety) or SimuFlite training.
