Job summary

Glendale Home, a 200-bed skilled nursing facility in Schenectady County, seeks an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead operations, clinical services, regulatory compliance, financial management, and strategic planning. The role reports to the County Manager and partners with the Director of Nursing to advance resident outcomes and organizational performance.

The ideal candidate will have long-term care leadership experience, NY NHA licensure, strong communication and teamwork skills,

Qualifications

Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; three years in a long-term care administrative role; or
Bachelor's degree in a related field with five years of qualifying administrative experience; or
Equivalency by education and experience; NY Nursing Home Administrator license at time of application or upon appointment.

Responsibilities

Provide executive leadership for Glendale Home operations and clinical services.
Oversee regulatory compliance, financial management, and quality improvement initiatives.
Lead resident satisfaction efforts, risk management, and staff engagement; collaborate with Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary leaders.
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve resident outcomes and organizational performance.
