Job summary

Windsor Skilled Nursing seeks an experienced executive to lead operations, policy development, and overall facility performance. The role directs programs, staffing, and regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality resident care in a complex long-term care setting.

The position requires a Nursing Home Administrator license, a bachelor’s degree in health administration or related field, and at least five years in executive leadership with supervisory responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required; degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration or health-related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at an Executive Level.
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a hospital or long-term care facility.
  • Current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet licensure requirements.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and long-term care regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's programs and activities.
  • Develop and maintain written policies and procedures to govern facility operation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Recruit, supervise, and develop department directors and staff to ensure high-quality care.
  • Assist in preparing annual operating budgets and maintain an accounting system reflecting operating costs.
  • Represent the facility in meetings with governing boards, medical staff, and external agencies.
  • Ensure residents receive nursing, medical, and psychosocial services to maintain quality of life.
