University Health is seeking an Executive Director, Patient Care Services - Perioperative & Procedural Services for the new Retama Hospital in Selma, Texas. This leadership role oversees Cath Lab, OR, Endoscopy, Pre-op, PACU and SPD, guiding nursing practice and patient care across multiple units.

Under the Chief Nurse Officer, you will drive quality and safety initiatives, lead regional and national nursing organizations, and shape standards of care for a community hospital opening in 2026-27,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and current Texas RN license.
• Master’s degree or enrollment in a master’s program.
• National nursing certification (e.g., CCRN, CEN, CNOR) required.
• Eight to ten years of nursing experience with at least two years in a supervisor or managerial position.
• Experience in a community hospital preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees Perioperative Services including Cath Lab, OR, Endoscopy, Pre-op, PACU and SPD.
• Maintains management responsibility and accountability for nursing practice across multiple units.
• Runs monthly Quality Assurance and Process Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Participates in regional and national nursing organizations, raising visibility for University Health.
