Job summary

Servier in the U.S. seeks a Vice President, Oncology, Clinical Development, to lead a major portion of the oncology portfolio from Boston. The role reports to the Global Head of Oncology Clinical Development and steers strategy, governance, and global collaboration across functions.

You will oversee end-to-end development activities from planning through registration, while shaping scientific strategy, operating models, and performance of the global oncology group. 20% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree required.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Oncology (Medical Oncology preferred).
• 12+ years in oncology drug development with 5+ years in mid-large pharma, including late-stage leadership.
• Demonstrated enterprise-level leadership and decision-making in a global, matrixed environment.
• Deep expertise in adult solid tumors; broader oncology experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical development strategy for a significant portion of the oncology portfolio, with focus on adult solid tumors.
• Lead Oncology Clinical Development Leadership Team and contribute to governance and portfolio prioritization.
• Represent Oncology Clinical Development in senior governance forums and engage with health authorities as needed.
• Provide enterprise-level leadership in development standards, decision-making frameworks, and continuous improvement.
