Job summary

Providence Health and Services Alaska is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to provide strategic leadership, planning, and operational oversight of ministry services within the Alaska Service Area.

The CAO will lead day-to-day operations, ensure quality and patient experience, manage budgets and contracts, and build strong relationships with caregivers, physicians, community leaders, and government officials.

Responsibilities

• Shapes Organizational Strategy: leads development and implementation of an integrated delivery system for the ministry and strategic plan.
• Leads policy development and organizational changes to provide continuum of services across populations served.
• Develops growth plans and strategies for physician integration and program expansion.
• Oversees financial and capital budget planning, performance monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
• Builds strategic relationships with community leaders, clinicians, and government officials to advance health goals.
