Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a strategic executive to lead the employee health plan transformation across its delivery system and to coordinate with Parkland’s domestic provider network. The role aims to achieve safe, timely, effective, efficient, and employee-focused care within a cost-conscious framework.

The candidate should bring extensive health plan design, provider network development, and performance management experience to improve access, quality, and value for a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures employee clinic operations are employee-patient centric and conform to policies, procedures, and Joint Commission requirements.
• L designs, implements and monitors performance with benchmarked metrics for patient experience, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiencies.
• Coordinates employee clinic service offerings with other relevant Parkland departments to enhance scheduling and access to support services.
• Collaborates with Benefits to develop reports monitoring service utilization and claims experience for in-network/out-of-network providers.
• Partners with Total Rewards to align network changes with employee health plan design and cost stewardship.
• Plans and develops provider networks (employed and contracted) and APPs; designs provider compensation to promote access, quality and patient experience.
• Maintains collaborative teams and interfaces across departments to solve problems and ensure timely processing in clinical areas, Nursing, Quality, Medical Staff, OTM, and Finance.
